Daemon's Hideout

Jessica turned to face him moving towards him she drew close feeling the sensations running threw her again, she looked at him as she reached up a hand pulling him down to her "I will take only what i need" she said softly her fangs and her lips touching his skin. Slowly she felt them pierce his skin as her lips caressed his neck the warm blood flowing from him into her, as her fangs with drew she cleaned the holes taking the last of his blood he hand slipped from his neck and she stepped back away from him her face now blushed.

He smiled.

"That, my dear, is a good philosophy."

she looked up at him " it what i stick too, never more than you need " she said

"Good," he said, "shall we continue?"

Jessica nodded letting out a long sigh as she turned glad he had not noticed her red cheeks.

"Do you know anything about martial arts?"

Jessica looked at him "martial what?" she said " It was not long ago i learned to shoot a gun let alone what ever you just said" she said back flipping a couple of times.

He smiled.

"Then I have much to teach you," he said, "martial arts are a form of fighting without weapons. Several forms."

she stood in front of him "show me" she said

He looked at her for a long moment.

"A demonstration with one of these dummies is in order," he said, "if I used you as an example, I might hurt you by accident; that's the last thing I want."

He rushed towards the nearest dummy, spinkicking it and then punching it in what was essentially the gut. He used various moves, using gymnastics of his own to go behind it and continue attacking. After a couple minutes of this, he stopped and a moment later he was at her side again.

"That's for when you get to higher levels," he said, "for now, I'll teach you the basics; but now you know what you're capable of."

Jessica watched in aw of what she saw his moves were more than she could even think of doing. "sure" she said now determined to learn all he had to offer her.

"First, let's see you throw a punch."

Jessica chuckled " like a girl" she said walking to a dummy she pulled back her arm balling hr fist and hit as hard as she could.

He sighed and a moment later was close behind her, one hand on her elbow.

"No, you see," he said, positioning her arm properly, "you punch from here."

Jessica's cheeks reddened again at his touch "I...I see" she said then threw her punch again this time the way he had showed her.

"You need to pack a little more force into it," he said, "try using your other arm now."

she looked at him but did as he said punching with both hands at the dummy "like that you mean?" she asked

"Once with each arm now," he said with a nod.

Jessica nodded and did as she was told each hand moving rhythmically one after the other, she kept doing it till her knuckles turned red and she stopped.

"Very nice," he said, nodding, "it will take some time to build up to your full potential; your true power has only just been unlocked, after all. Now you must discover it and train it."

He took a step back, closing his eyes.

"Trace this symbol," he said, drawing a symbol in the air; it glowed faintly where he had traced it.

Jessica moved to where he stood , taking a deep breath she copied the symbol in the air " now what?" she asked

He watched the faint glow.

"So the magic you have is Shinto-an ancient Japanese form."

He nodded.

"You see, there are several types of ancient magic; I hold the power of three. Shinto, Elvish, and Demonic; it is quite unusual to have one or more forms of magic at your disposal, even for a vampire. This is a great gift, though it is one difficult to learn."

Jessica smiled " then i guess we should get started" she said

He smiled.

"Ready?"

Jessica took a deep breath and nodded " as I'll ever be" she said
