waiting in an alley

dragoon sat in an alley waiting for something but had no idea what he was waiting for so he just sat there staring blankly at the entrence of the alley

Connan walked down the street, still wounded, but capable of moving at least.

dragon watched as Connan walked by the alley then he became curious by the fact that Connan was injured and not in a hospital so he climed on to the roof of a building and followed Connan on the rooftops

Connan looked down at his wrist, as if checking a watch.

Freezing, he heard the single, telltale foot fall on the roof above.

"Come out, come out, whoever you are."

dragoon crouched on the roof

"damn it" dragoon muttered

"Oh come on, you can see I'm injured, and little more than a kid. What threat do I pose?"

The 'watch' he'd observed, he checked again.

Now it was loaded.

dragoon stood up and walked to the edge of the building

"if you're injurered why aren't you in a hospital?"

Not turning, he said "I don't like hospitals."

"that makes sense" dragoon said

"So, why were you following me?"

"i was wondering why you were wndering the streets injured instead of getting medical help"

"Now you know."

Connan tensed, the metal in his hand providing mental as well as physical protection.

"well i still want to know why you are wndering the streets injured"

"Does it matter?"

"not really"

"So. Are you planning to attack me, then?"

"maybe maybe not you never know what a physco like me will do"

"Well it's a comfort to know I'm not the only maniac they let roam the streets."

"well... i'm not supposed to be roaming the streets i'm supposed to be locked up in an asylum"

"Mmm. I'm supposed to be dead."

"seriously?"

"Many times over."

"ok then"

Connan didn't respond, just resettled his grip on the derringer pistol in his hand.

dragoon put both of his hands in his jacket and kept the in there and stared blankly at the sky
