Kain's Dominion

Kain stood at the 7th floor window with unrest in his hideout.

Jessica walked seemingly no where till she found her self in a ghost town she hoped to find an empty house to rest for the night.
Sitting down on a step she pulled her cloak tight around her.

Kain smirked and glided out of the window as if standing still and landed silently behind her.
"We meet again at last."

Jessica jumped standing she moved away shivering as she went "you again" she said again pulling her cloak tight around her delicate frame.

He smirked.
"Would you care to come inside?"

Jessica shivered again "all i need is some where to sleep" she said swaying slightly.

"Come with me."
He opened to large wooden door of the abandoned tower.

Jessica moved with him inside, she needed to rest "what is this place " she said finding her self leaning against a wall.

"This is an abandoned tower.
I...liberated it from useless savages.
You can rest down there."
He walked down stairs to a room for of beds.
"I supose it was used as a bunker at some point."

Jessica moved to one of the bed and almost collapsed onto it pulling her feet up she drifted into a nightmarish sleep, her images ones of pain and pale hands touching her as she struggled to escape, as she lay she tossed and turned she threw the cloak to one side as she moved to stop the dream hands.

"No...You won't....I won't be.." she mumbled in her sleep

Kain sat on a bed and watched her.

the nightmare increased her hands clawing at her skin as she saw bugs crawl from her skin in her dream she rip at her clothes to rid herself of them. on the bed she tossed and turned her hands now clawing at her flesh her face contorted with disgust grasping the cloth of her dress her nails shredding it as she brushed aways nightmare bugs.

"Raziel, kindly destroy that pitiful dream she is having and wake her."

He said to his sword the soulreaver and gently cut her hand with it.
The soulreaver has the ability to absorb souls with a cut but can also be limited to the subconcious areas like dreams or nightmares.

Jessica felt a nip and her nightmare left her her back once arched gently lowered to the bed as she eyes opened , for a moment she looked around then sitting up she moved from the bed " what did you do?" she asked holding her hand and looking at her partly shredded dress "the night mare it came again."

"I trust you did not sleep well.
I awoke you with the soulreaver."
He held up his sword.
"The spirit within it is my dear old friend, Raziel.
It was he who tore you from your torturous dreams."

Jessica shook her head "I did not , the nightmare plagues my sleep every night"

"Worry not. It wont return."
He walked over to her.
"What is the matter?"

she looked at him " I am just cold" she said shivering "and embarased for you to see me like this"

He smirked.
"I believe theres some clothes in that closit."

standing eh made her way to a closet her hand s covering her dignity, looking threw she found a dark blue dress she liked he looked back at him before slipping off the tattered on she wore her back now showing her silver scars to him that crisscrossed her slender back all the way to her upper thighs

Kain stood there.
He was sneering darkly but deep in thought at the same time.
no telling what he was thinking.

once dressed Jessica turned back to face him "why did you want me here?" she asked her back against the wall

"I believe you could be of some use to me."

she moved along the wall back to the bed "how , i can't even help my self how can i be of use to you"

"I hear tell you are searching for a cure.
I wish to help you obtain it."
He put on a darkened smirk.
