| Alix stared into the little fire that she had made under the bridge. It was the third one she had made tonight, since people get on going over the bridge and Alix was afraid that they'd see her. She yawned and stretched her arms above her head, then pulled her coat tighter around her. | |

| Alix smiled and looked up at the guy. "Thank you." She looked at the fire, then reached behind her for her staff. It was about a foot taller then her and she held it in front of her. "Watch this," she whispered. She moved the staff and as she did the fire moved with it. "I can do that without my staff.. but it's easier with it." | |
